The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Marion County Eagles (Buena Vista, GA) and the host Manchester Blue Devils (Manchester, GA), observed Marion County's softball team notch a victory over Manchester by a tally of 14-6.

The Eagles (14-14) will now prepare for their bout against Taylor County (Butler, GA). The Vikings go into the 1A D-II Region 6 bout with a 19-7 record. In their last bout, Taylor County was routed by Lee County (Leesburg, GA), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 7 bout, on Thursday, October 3. Manchester will attempt to advance on its 4-17 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-14 record after their 7-6 non-league win over Hiram (Hiram, GA).
