In Tuesday's non-league test, the Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO) softball squad the visiting Moberly Spartans (Moberly, MO), by a tally of 9-7.
Next, the Bearcats meet the Madison Panthers (Madison, MO) in a Class 1 District 8 test, on Thursday, October 3. Northeast will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Panthers go into the test with a 4-13 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Slater (Slater, MO).
