The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA) and the visiting Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA), observed Trion's softball team notch a victory over Mt. Zion by a tally of 12-0.

The Bulldogs (9-8) will now prepare for their bout against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Rebels go into the non-league bout with a 13-9 record. In their last bout, Haralson County gained a win over Pepperell (Lindale, GA), 15-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Hiram Hornets (Hiram, GA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 2. Mt. Zion will attempt to advance on its 5-14 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 9-8 league win over Woodland (Cartersville, GA).
