Georgia High School Softball - Westwood bested by Southwest Georgia Academy

In Tuesday's league match, the host Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors softball team scored a nice 12-0 victory over the Westwood Wildcats.
The Warriors (20-1) will now prepare for their match against Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA). The Trojans go into the GIAA Class A & AA District 3 match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Fullington Academy gained a win over Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA), 5-4, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Crisp Academy Wildcats (Cordele, GA) in a GIAA Class A & AA District 3 match, on Thursday, October 3. Westwood will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 8-12 record after their 8-7 league loss to Southland Academy (Americus, GA).
