The Andrew Jackson Volunteers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Chesterfield Golden Rams to 0 in the Volunteers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Volunteers now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to York Prep for a AA Region 5 outing on Thursday, October 3. Andrew Jackson will play a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Cheraw (Cheraw, SC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-6.
With the loss, Chesterfield drops to 4-5 on the campaign. The Golden rams host Central (Pageland, SC) to play the Eagles in a AA Region 5 outing on Thursday, October 3. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 3-5.
