The Stingarees now own a 9-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Iowa Colony for a 5A Region III District 20 test on Friday, October 4. Texas City will face a Pioneers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Friendswood (Friendswood, TX). The Pioneers record now stands at 14-11.
