The Appalachian Eagles prevailed the host Southeastern Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's non-league game.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Jefferson Christian Academy Eagles (Birmingham, AL) in a 1A Area 10 game, on Friday, October 4. Appalachian will attempt to advance on its 14-5 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-5 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL).

The Mustangs (15-6) will now prepare for their game against Hayden (Hayden, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league game with a 19-13 record. In their last game, Hayden beat Appalachian (Oneonta, AL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
