In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Azusa Aztecs volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Nogales Nobles.

The Aztecs (10-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Duarte (Duarte, CA). The Falcons come into the Montview challenge with a 6-14 record. In their last challenge, Duarte edged Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Nobles play the Garey Vikings (Pomona, CA) in a Montview challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Nogales will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 6-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sierra Vista (Baldwin Park, CA).
