In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Lenape Indians volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Cherokee Chiefs.

The Indians (4-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Cherry Hill West (Cherry Hill, NJ). The Lions come into the non-league challenge with a 6-7 record. In their last challenge, Cherry Hill West was nudged by Paul VI (Haddonfield, NJ), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Chiefs play the Triton Mustangs (Runnemede, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 5. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Sterling (Somerdale, NJ).
