Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) and the host Chiawana Riverhawks (Pasco, WA), observed Richland's volleyball team hold off Chiawana by a count of 3-2.
The Bombers (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Pasco (Pasco, WA). The Bulldogs enter the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Pasco was tipped by Hermiston (Hermiston, WA), 3-0, in a league contest.
Next, the Riverhawks battle the Kamiakin Braves (Kennewick, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia contest, on Thursday, October 3. Chiawana will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Braves enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Walla Walla (Walla Walla, WA).
