In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Grant Pacers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Cordova Lancers.

The Pacers (1-10) will now prepare for their challenge against McClatchy (Sacramento, CA). The Lions come into the Metropolitan Conference challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, McClatchy edged Kennedy (Sacramento, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers meet the Antelope Titans (Antelope, CA) in a Metropolitan Conference challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Cordova will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to West Park (Roseville, CA).
