Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Wallace County Wildcats (Sharon Springs, KS) and the visiting Dighton Hornets (Dighton, KS), observed Wallace County's volleyball team top Dighton by a tally of 2-0.

The Wildcats (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Triplains/Brewster (Brewster, KS). The Titans enter the non-league contest with a 1-16 record.

Next, the Hornets meet the Greeley County Jackrabbits (Tribune, KS) in a Northwest Kansas contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Dighton will attempt to upgrade on its 11-9 season record. The Jackrabbits enter the contest with a 13-7 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Wichita County (Leoti, KS).
