In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Pekin Dragons volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the East Peoria Raiders.

The Dragons (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles come into the Mid-Illini challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, Dunlap was nudged by Metamora (Metamora, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders play the Limestone Rockets (Bartonville, IL) in a Mid-Illini challenge, on Thursday, October 3. East Peoria will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 2-0 league win over Canton (Canton, IL).
