Rhode Island High School Volleyball - North Smithfield over Exeter-West Greenwich

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the North Smithfield Northmen (North Smithfield, RI) and the host Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI), observed North Smithfield's volleyball team top Exeter-West Greenwich by a count of 3-1.

The Northmen (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Huskies enter the Division 2 contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Mt. Hope notched a victory over West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Scarlet Knights battle the Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) in a Division 2 contest, on Thursday, October 3. Exeter-West Greenwich will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 5-4 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Cranston East (Cranston, RI).
