In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Fleming County Panthers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Mason County Royals.

The Panthers (7-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Robertson County (Mt. Olivet, KY). The Black Devils come into the non-league challenge with a 10-12 record.

Next, the Royals play the St. Patrick Saints (Maysville, KY) in a District 39 challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Mason County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-15 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 3-0 league loss to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
