Texas High School Volleyball - Frisco over Independence

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Frisco Raccoons (Frisco, TX) and the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), observed Frisco's volleyball team top Independence by a count of 3-1.

The Raccoons (16-12) will now prepare for their contest against Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Warriors enter the 5A Region II District 11 contest with a 21-13 record. In their last contest, Memorial was knocked off by Liberty (Frisco, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights battle the Lebanon Trail Trail Blazers (Frisco, TX) in a 5A Region II District 11 contest, on Friday, October 4. Independence will attempt to move on its 15-11 season record. The Trail Blazers enter the contest with a 1-21 record after their 3-0 league loss to Heritage (Frisco, TX).
