In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Gloucester Dukes volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Hampton Crabbers.

The Dukes (6-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots come into the Peninsula challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Denbigh lost by Heritage (Newport News, VA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Crabbers play the Kecoughtan Warriors (Hampton, VA) in a Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 3-2 league loss to Warwick (Newport News, VA).
