In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Maryland School for the Deaf Orioles volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Greater Grace Christian Academy Eagles.

The Orioles (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Model Secondary School for the Deaf (Washington, DC). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 2-18 record.

Next, the Eagles play the Rockbridge Academy Scots (Millersville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Greater Grace Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
