The Lexington Minutemen topped the host Heyworth Hornets volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL) in a Heart of Illinois game, on Thursday, October 3. Lexington will attempt to advance on its 15-5 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 league win over Ridgeview (Colfax, IL).

The Hornets (14-7) will now prepare for their game against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers go into the Heart of Illinois game with a 15-5 record. In their last game, LeRoy went down by Tri-Valley (Downs, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
