Huntingtown Hurricanes (Huntingtown, MD) supporters were in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball team top the host Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), 3-0 in a league contest.

The Hurricanes (6-3) will now prepare for their contest against Great Mills (Great Mills, MD). The Hornets enter the Southern Maryland contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Great Mills was knocked off by Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) in a Southern Maryland contest, on Monday, October 7. Thomas Stone will attempt to move on its 2-6 season record. The Chargers enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD).
