North Carolina High School Volleyball - South Point over Huss

October 1, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28052

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), observed South Point's volleyball team top Huss by a tally of 3-0.

The Red Raiders (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Crest (Shelby, NC). The Chargers enter the Big South 3A contest with a 8-15 record. In their last contest, Crest beat Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Huskies meet the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a Big South 3A contest, on Wednesday, October 2. Huss will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record. The Mountaineers enter the contest with a 18-1 record after their 3-0 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
