Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Paraclete Spirits (Lancaster, CA) and the visiting La Salle Lancers (Pasadena, CA), observed Paraclete's volleyball team top La Salle by a count of 3-1.

The Spirits (14-9) will now prepare for their contest against St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA). The Mariners enter the Camino Real contest with a 13-16 record. In their last contest, St. Monica was knocked off by St. Anthony (Long Beach, CA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Lancers meet the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals (Montebello, CA) in a Camino Real contest, on Thursday, October 3. La Salle will attempt to move on its 15-9 season record. The Cardinals enter the contest with a 11-11 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Marshall (Los Angeles, CA).
