With the win, Pine River Area improves its record to 10-6 on the season. The Bucks travel to Lakeview (Lakeview, MI) to face the Wildcats in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 5-14. Lakeview lost 3-0 in their recent league test against White Cloud (White Cloud, MI)

The Trojans now own a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evart for a Highland test on Thursday, October 3. Lake City will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Crossroads Charter Academy (Big Rapids, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
