Kansas High School Volleyball - Lakin tips Wichita County

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Lakin Broncs (Lakin, KS) and the visiting Wichita County Indians (Leoti, KS), observed Lakin's volleyball team hold off Wichita County by a count of 2-1.

The Broncs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Stanton County (Johnson, KS). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 15-9 record. In their last contest, Stanton County was tipped by Wichita County (Leoti, KS), 2-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Indians battle the Thomas More Prep-Marian Monarchs (Hays, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Wichita County will attempt to move on its 15-7 season record. The Monarchs enter the contest with a 16-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Phillipsburg (Phillipsburg, KS).
