Livingston Lancers (Livingston, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Newark Academy Minutemen (Livingston, NJ), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Livingston improves its record to 9-3 on the season. The Lancers travel to Secaucus (Secaucus, NJ) to face the Patriots in a non-league test on Saturday, October 5. The Patriots go into the test with a record of 13-0.

The Minutemen now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mount St. Dominic Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 4. Newark Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Millburn (Millburn, NJ). The Lions record now stands at 5-7.
