The Rowan County Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Morgan County Cougars to 0 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now have a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Menifee County for a District 61 outing on Thursday, October 3.

With the loss, Morgan County drops to 3-12 on the campaign. The Cougars host Bath County (Owingsville, KY) to play the Wildcats in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 2. The Wildcats come into the outing with a record of 4-15. Bath County lost 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Fairview (Ashland, KY)
