In Tuesday's league match, the Mount Airy Granite Bears (Mount Airy, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC), by a count of 3-0.

Next up, the Granite Bears battle the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 3. Mount Airy will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Greyhounds enter the match with a 13-5 record after their 3-0 league win over West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC).
