California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union can't get by Yuba City

The Yuba City Honkers edged the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Tuesday's league game.

Next up, the Honkers confront the Roseville Tigers (Roseville, CA) in a Foothill Valley League game, on Thursday, October 3. Yuba City will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Tigers go into the game with a 12-10 record after their 3-0 league win over Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA).

The Miners (7-16) will now prepare for their game against River Valley (Yuba City, CA). The Falcons go into the Foothill Valley League game with a 8-18 record. In their last game, River Valley was edged by Placer (Auburn, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
