North Carolina High School Volleyball - Overhills over Triton

October 1, 2024: Spring Lake, NC 28390

The Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Jaguars now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Forest for a All American 3A/4A bout on Thursday, October 3. Overhills will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 13-8.

With the loss, Triton drops to 12-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Lee County (Sanford, NC) to clash with the Yellow Jackets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, October 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a record of 10-6. Lee County lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC)
