Texas High School Volleyball - Pleasant Grove over Sulphur Springs

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Pleasant Grove Hawks (Texarkana, TX) and the visiting Sulphur Springs Wildcats (Sulphur Springs, TX), observed Pleasant Grove's volleyball team top Sulphur Springs by a count of 3-0.

The Hawks (25-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bonham (Bonham, TX). The Warriors enter the 4A Region II District 14 contest with a 2-11 record. In their last contest, Bonham was knocked off by Paris (Paris, TX), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Wildcats battle the Pittsburg Pirates (Pittsburg, TX) in a 4A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, October 4. Sulphur Springs will attempt to move on its 19-12 season record. The Pirates enter the contest with a 19-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Lamar (Paris, TX).
