The Aptos Mariners flag football squad scored 38 points and limited the host Scotts Valley Falcons to 25 in the Mariners league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mariners now hold a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to San Luis Obispo for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. Aptos will face a Tigers team coming off a 45-6 league win over Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-1.
The Falcons (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA). The Pirates go into the challenge with a 2-4 record.
