Channel Islands Raiders (Oxnard, CA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA), 45-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Channel Islands upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Raiders host Santa Paula (Santa Paula, CA) to play the Cardinals in a Citrus Coast challenge on Wednesday, October 8. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Santa Paula won 35-0 in their recent league challenge against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA)

The Vikings (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Fillmore (Fillmore, CA). The Flashes go into the Citrus Coast challenge with a 3-12 record.
