California High School Flag Football - Garden Grove defeats Costa Mesa

October 1, 2025: Costa Mesa, CA 92626

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Garden Grove Argonauts flag football team scored a nice 28-19 win over the Costa Mesa Mustangs.

With the win, Garden Grove advances its record to 11-7 on the season. The Argonauts travel to Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Jaguars in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Jaguars go into the battle with a record of 6-10. Segerstrom won 33-18 in their recent non-league battle against Loara (Anaheim, CA)

The Mustangs now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Katella for a match on Thursday, October 2. Costa Mesa will confront a Knights squad coming off a 24-21 league loss to Buena Park (Buena Park, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-8.
