Mountain Crest Mustangs (Hyrum, UT) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Deseret Peak Golden Eagles (Tooele, UT), 8-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Mountain Crest improves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Mustangs host Sky View (Smithfield, UT) to confront the Bobcats in a 4A Region 11 outing on Monday, October 6. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 10-7. Sky View won 1-0 in their recent league outing against Ridgeline (Millville, UT)

Next up, the Golden Eagles clash with the Bear River Bears (Garland, UT) in a 4A Region 11 test, on Monday, October 6. Deseret Peak will attempt to advance on its 0-17 season record. The Bears come into the test with a 3-14 record after their 1-0 league loss to Tooele (Tooele, UT).
