In Wednesday's league outing, the host Douglas Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 victory over the Galena Grizzlies.
The Tigers (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop Manogue (Reno, NV). The Miners go into the outing with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Bishop Manogue by North Valleys (Reno, NV), 7-1, in a non-league test.
The Grizzlies now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carson for a test on Saturday, October 11. Galena will clash with a Senators team coming off a 2-0 league win over Wooster (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 4-7.
