Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) and the visiting Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC), observed North Davidson's volleyball team top Atkins by a count of 2-0.
The Black Knights (13-4) will now prepare for their battle against North Forsyth (Winston-Salem, NC). The Vikings go into the non-league battle with a 1-10 record.
The Camels now own a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walkertown for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 2. Atkins will encounter a Wolfpack squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 6-9.
