California High School Volleyball - Carson over Banning

October 1, 2025: Wilmington, CA 90744

The crowd at Wednesday's league battle between the Carson Colts (Carson, CA) and the host Banning Pilots (Wilmington, CA), saw Carson's volleyball squad notch a victory over Banning by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Carson improves its record to 13-8 on the season. The Colts travel to Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA) to encounter the Stars in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Stars go into the battle with a record of 1-0. Mary Star of the Sea won 2-1 in their recent non-league contest against Banning (Wilmington, CA)

Next, the Pilots meet the Narbonne Gauchos (Harbor City, CA) in a contest, on Monday, October 6. Banning will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Gauchos enter the contest with a 1-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Carson (Carson, CA).
