The Wildcats (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Oscar Smith dropped by Hickory (Chesapeake, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.

The Cavaliers now own a 3-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to King's Fork for a non-league contest on Wednesday, October 1. Lakeland will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-6.
