Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Benedictine Cadets (Richmond, VA) and the host Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Benedictine's soccer squad knock off Catholic by a count of 2-0.

The Cadets (7-1) will now prepare for their battle against Potomac School (McLean, VA). The Panthers enter the MAC battle with a 6-2 record. In their last battle, Potomac School tipped Collegiate (Richmond, VA), 4-1, in a non-league match.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Virginia Academy for a non-league match on Monday, October 6. Catholic will meet a Patriots team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-6.
