In Wednesday's league outing, the visiting Holy Cross Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Forest City Foresters.

The Crusaders (9-6) will now prepare for their outing against Carbondale Area (Carbondale, PA). The Chargers go into the Lackawanna - Division III outing with a 1-12 record. In their last outing, Carbondale Area was overwhelmed by Riverside (Taylor, PA), 6-0, in a league test.

The Foresters now have a 0-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mid Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Forest City will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 1-0 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-7.
