In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Phillipsburg Stateliners soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Hillsborough Raiders.
With the triumph, Phillipsburg moves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Stateliners host Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ) to clash with the Bucs in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 8. The Bucs come into the test with a record of 4-2.
The Raiders now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bernards for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4.
