North Carolina High School Soccer - North Henderson knocks off Smoky Mountain

Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) and the host Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC), saw North Henderson's soccer squad knock off Smoky Mountain by a count of 3-0.

The Knights (8-6) will now prepare for their match against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the Mountain Eight 4A/5A match with a 3-9 record. In their last match, Tuscola by East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC), 4-2, in a league match.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pisgah for a Mountain Eight 4A/5A match on Monday, October 6. Smoky Mountain will meet a Bears team coming off a 5-1 league loss to Brevard (Brevard, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-5.
