In Wednesday's league match, the host Sperry Pirates softball squad scored a close 6-0 triumph over the Antlers Bearcats.
With the triumph, Sperry improves its record to 18-16 on the year. The Pirates travel to Sequoyah (Tahlequah, OK) to play the Indians in a 3A game on Thursday, October 2. The Indians enter the game with a record of 30-8. Sequoyah won 7-1 in their recent league game against Sperry (Sperry, OK)
The Bearcats now hold a 2-10 record.
