The LaFayette Ramblers (LaFayette, GA) softball routed the visiting Gordon Lee Trojans (Chickamauga, GA), 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing.
The Ramblers now sport a 23-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murray County for a non-league test on Monday, October 6. LaFayette will meet a Indians squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Rockmart (Rockmart, GA). The Indians record now stands at 7-15.
The Trojans (22-5) will now prepare for their test against Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Lions go into the 1A D-I Region 7 test with a 4-16 record. In their last test, Christian Heritage was routed by Dade County (Trenton, GA), 8-0, in a league outing.
