The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting Sperry Pirates (Sperry, OK), observed Sequoyah's softball team get by Sperry by a tally of 7-1.

The Indians (30-8) will now prepare for their bout against Sperry (Sperry, OK). The Pirates go into the 3A bout with a 18-16 record. In their last bout, Sperry tipped Antlers (Antlers, OK), 12-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) in a 3A contest, on Thursday, October 2. Sperry will attempt to improve on its 18-16 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 30-8 record after their 7-1 league win over Sperry (Sperry, OK).
