The Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) volleyball knocked off the host Airline Vikings (Bossier City, LA), 3-0 in Wednesday's league match.
In their next game, the Yellow Jackets encounter the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 3. Byrd will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 16-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over St. Scholastica (Covington, LA).
The Vikings now own a 7-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a Division I District 1 battle on Tuesday, October 7.
