In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Jefferson Raiders volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Auburn Mountainview Lions.

The Raiders (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Kent-Meridian (Kent, WA). The Royals come into the 3A/4A N. Puget Sound (Cascade) challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Kent-Meridian nudged Beamer (Federal Way, WA), 3-1, in a league test.

The Lions now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Auburn for a 3A/4A N. Puget Sound (Cascade) test on Friday, October 3. Auburn Mountainview will face a Trojans squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Auburn Riverside (Auburn, WA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-6.
