The Nichols Vikings topped the host Cardinal O'Hara Hawks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next up, the Vikings face the St. Mary's Lancers (Lancaster, NY) in a Monsignor Martin game, on Monday, October 6. Nichols will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Lancers go into the game with a 23-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Our Lady of Mercy (Rochester, NY).
The Hawks (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Mount St. Mary Academy (Kenmore, NY). The Thunder come into the Monsignor Martin outing with a 8-10 record. In their last outing, Mount St. Mary Academy lost by St. Mary's (Lancaster, NY), 3-0, in a league outing.
