In Wednesday's league challenge, the visiting Chavez Eagles volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Poly Parrots.

The Eagles (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Lancers come into the East Valley challenge with a 19-4 record. In their last challenge, Grant beat Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Parrots play the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Monday, October 6. Poly will attempt to advance on its 7-13 season record. The Huskies go into the game with a 5-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Arleta (Arleta, CA).
