Fans at Wednesday's league contest between the Wilson Wildcats (Hacienda Heights, CA) and the visiting Covina Colts (Covina, CA), observed Wilson's volleyball team hold off Covina by a count of 3-2.

The Wildcats (11-12) will now prepare for their contest against Charter Oak (Covina, CA). The Chargers enter the Valle Vista contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Charter Oak got by West Covina (West Covina, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Colts battle the Rowland Raiders (Rowland Heights, CA) in a Valle Vista contest, on Monday, October 6. Covina will attempt to move on its 18-6 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 9-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Northview (Covina, CA).
